
Election Watcher List Submission for OFW Voting Ends April 1
The Philippine Embassy in Abu Dhabi reminds all qualified political parties, accredited organizations, and OFW groups to submit their official list of election watchers for the upcoming 2025 National Elections. The submission deadline is April 1, 2025, and all lists must be sent via email following COMELEC’s guidelines under Resolution No. 11061.
Who Can Submit Watchers?
Submission is open to:
- Registered political parties or coalitions
- Accredited party-list groups
- Accredited citizens’ arms
- Accredited OFW organizations
Who Can Be a Watcher?
To qualify, a watcher must:
- Be a registered overseas voter in Abu Dhabi
- Have good moral character
- Not be convicted of any crime or election offense
- Be able to read and write in English or Filipino
- Not be related (within 4th degree) to any SBEI member at their assigned post

All appointed watchers are expected to fully respect and follow the laws of the United Arab Emirates while performing their duties.
