The START Program, under our LEARN Pathway, is the official early childhood formation offering of the Filipino Institute. Designed for children ages 1 to 5 years old, it combines values-based learning, play, imagination, and Filipino cultural identity in a safe and loving space we call the Second Home Playhouse.

🧸 Daycare & Nursery (Ages 1–3)
- Age Requirement: 1 to 2.11 years old
- Focus: Sensory development, emotional safety, early communication
- Activities: Music, movement, fine motor play, Filipino storytelling
- Environment: Safe, playful, nurturing, and home-like
🎨 Kinder 1 (Age 4)
- Requirement: Must be 4 years old by October 31 of the school year
- Focus: Pre-literacy, numeracy, routines, social interaction, creative play
- Approach: Values-based and exploratory
📖 Kinder 2 (Age 5)
- Requirement: Must be 5 years old by October 31 (DepEd Order No. 20, s. 2018)
- Focus: Reading readiness, writing, math foundations, identity and values formation
- Curriculum: DepEd-aligned + global early learning best practices
- Note: Kinder 2 is required before entering Grade 1
