Eid Al Fitr to Begin on Sunday, March 30 Across the Middle East
Eid Mubarak from the Filipino Institute!
Eid al-Fitr, the joyful celebration marking the end of Ramadan, will officially begin on Sunday, March 30, 2025, in the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Kuwait β following the successful sighting of the crescent moon on Saturday evening.
In Oman, the Ministry of Endowments announced that the moon was not sighted, meaning Ramadan will complete 30 days, and Eid will begin on Monday, March 31. Egypt and Syria are also expected to begin Eid on Sunday, March 30, pending local confirmation.
This season is a time of prayer, thanksgiving, and community celebration. As our FI community celebrates in the UAE and across the region, we extend our warmest greetings of peace and unity.
βTo all our Muslim brothers and sisters in the FI Family and beyond β may this Eid bring joy, strength, and renewed faith. Eid Mubarak!β
