Philippine Embassy Abu Dhabi Announces Holiday Closures This April
Plan ahead: Embassy to suspend operations during national and religious holidays.
April 6 – Abu Dhabi. The Philippine Embassy has announced that it will be closed on select dates this April in observance of national and religious holidays. Filipino residents and OFWs in the UAE are advised to plan their embassy-related transactions ahead of time and take note of available hotlines for emergency concerns.
Official Closure Dates
The Embassy will be closed on the following dates:
📌 April 9, 2025 (Wednesday) – Araw ng Kagitingan / Day of Valor
📌 April 17, 2025 (Thursday) – Maundy Thursday
📌 April 18, 2025 (Friday) – Good Friday
These holidays are commemorated in the Philippines as a time to honor Filipino heroes and reflect during Holy Week. Embassy services will resume after the official non-working days.
